Ballet - Classic ballet is the basis of all dance forms. Students that have a clear knowledge and understanding of ballet are able to perform all other dance forms with greater ease and success. It teaches confidence, proper body carriage, grace, understanding of movement and physical ability. As the girls progress, they have the opportunity to learn pointe' and the boys concentrate on jumps and lifts. Jr. High and High School levels learn more lyrical movements.
*Ballet must be taken by any student age 3 and up, taking jazz and pointe.

Pointe - Highest level of classical ballet with pointe' shoes, (on toe); a difficult but graceful style of dance that requires the student to be strong enough and old enough to participate in classes for this style of dance. Before taking pointe', students must take the pre-pointe' class for 3 months, which helps strengthen the ankles and will give knowledge to the students on PROPER technique. Students also must have two years of ballet or lyrical training before being able to take this class.
Jazz - A fusion of jazz style of dancing and hip hop. The jazz style is seen mainly on TV, movies and my favorite, BROADWAY! As the students advance the style leans more toward hip-hop.
(Must take Ballet. see above.)
The Hip-Hop Club - All hip-hop, all the time!
Ages 5 and up. We must have 6 students to have a class and we can have a separate class for boys if there is enough interest.
Tap - A fun style with tap shoes that help the student with rhythm and making music with their feet.

Irish Step Dancing - This is a form of folk dancing made popular by Riverdance and Lord of the Dance. The dancer must be 5 years old or older and will learn soft shoe and hard shoe styles. There may be different levels of classes for Irish and will be set up at Registration time.
BROADWAY! ~ This is an add-on class and can only be taken if three years of jazz has been taken. (If no prior jazz experience, private lessons must be taken to be able to attend class.)
